Terms of Sale & Refund Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. Who you're buying from

Software on this site is sold by Carefree.Coding, operated by Edgar Ghahramanyan, based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. You can reach us any time at edgar@carefreecoding.ca or through the contact form.

2. What you're buying

Each purchase is a one-time payment for a perpetual licence to a downloadable application or game. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. Updates to the version you bought are included at no extra cost, delivered through the product's launcher.

3. Prices, currency and tax

All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes, if any, are calculated at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may add a foreign-transaction fee if your account is held in another currency — that fee is theirs, not ours, and we never see it.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout and never reach this server — we receive only your email address, the name you entered, the amount paid and a payment reference. Your purchase is confirmed once Stripe reports the payment as complete.

5. Delivery

Delivery is electronic and immediate. After payment you'll be shown a confirmation page with a download link, and the same links are emailed to you. Everything you bought is also always available from the downloads page, so a lost email never means a lost purchase.

6. Your licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the computers you own or control, for as long as you like. You may not resell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the software, share your activation email so others can use it, or attempt to strip out or defeat the licence check.

Activation is tied to the email address you paid with — explained in full here. Activating another of your computers, or a replacement one, is free: just enter the same email in the launcher.

7. Refunds

Every product has a free demo, so please try it before buying — that's what it's there for. Beyond that:

  • Something's broken. If the software doesn't work as described and we can't fix it for you, you get a full refund. Just tell us what happened.
  • Changed your mind. Ask within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you.
  • Bought it twice. Duplicate or accidental purchases are always refunded in full, no time limit.

Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and usually appear within 5–10 business days. Refunding a purchase ends your licence to use the software. Nothing here limits any rights you have under Ontario or Canadian consumer protection law.

To request one, email edgar@carefreecoding.ca from the address you purchased with. Please contact us before opening a chargeback — a dispute takes weeks and we can almost always sort it out the same day.

8. Support

Support is by email and comes directly from the developer. We aim to respond within three business days. There's no ticket queue and no chatbot in the way.

9. Availability and changes

We may change prices, update products, or stop selling something at any time. Changes never affect a purchase already made: software you've bought stays licensed to you and stays downloadable. If a product is retired, we'll say so on its page and keep the download available to existing owners.

10. Limitation of liability

The software is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost data, lost profit or lost time. Please keep backups of anything important, as you would with any software.

11. Privacy

We store your email address, the name you gave at checkout and your purchase record. Nothing about your computer is collected. We do not store card details, and we don't collect usage or telemetry data from the software. See the privacy policy for the full picture.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

13. Questions

Anything unclear? Email edgar@carefreecoding.ca and ask — a real person reads it.
